Job Description

  • Liaise with internal personnel on the application of KYC/KYB policy.
  • Maintaining knowledge of appropriate laws and regulations with a view to review / challenge internal teams where required.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to internal teams to obtain client/user KYC/KYB and other compliance information and documentation.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ascertain information on the purpose of client accounts, transaction volumes etc.
  • Review incoming documents for clients according to market standard KYC/KYB /Anti-Money Laundering Program (AML) policies
  • Retain records of all information relied upon to complete KYC/KYB
  • Perform basic, additional and enhanced due diligence KYC/KYB reviews for new and existing customers
  • Review and evaluate recent negative news related to clients.
  • Ensure the company has a clear understanding of the clients KYC/KYB risks
  • Understanding of how risk factors impact client risk rating.
  • Understanding on how sanctions, ABC, terrorist financing impact the risk profile of the client
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the execution and implementation of KYC/KYB rules and policies
  • Understanding of how a fintech works.
  • Provide general supervision and management of the day-to-day compliance and auditing affairs of the company within the applicable guidelines.
  • Policies and Procedures Manual approved by the Board, consistent with decisions requiring prior to approval of the Board.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, integrity and appropriate disclosure of the company policies and procedures and internal controls.
  • Carry out any other appropriate duties and responsibilities assigned by the Board.
